The Lion and the Mouse

Once when a Lion was asleep a little Mouse began running up
and down upon him; this soon wakened the Lion, who placed his huge
paw upon him, and opened his big jaws to swallow him.
"Pardon, O King," cried the little Mouse: "forgive me this time, I
shall never forget it: who knows but what I may be able to do you a turn some of these days?" The Lion was so tickled at the idea of the Mouse being able to help him, that he lifted up his paw
and  let him go. Some time after the Lion was caught in a trap, and the hunters who desired to carry him alive to the King, tied him to a tree while they went in search of a wagon to carry him on. Just
then the little Mouse happened to pass by, and seeing the sad
plight in which the Lion was, went up to him and soon gnawed away
the ropes that bound the King of the Beasts. "Was I not right?"
said the little Mouse.

Moral Lesson:

"Little friends may prove great friends"

Reflection:
Friends are people who make close to us , they bond us and make us feel as happy.
Through them we learn to become more sufficient and more friendly to other people. A friend that always there to make you happy and helps you everytime you need a someone else. Friend are really great friend because they are trusting people and always there to help you in your problem . A person with whom someone shares extremely strong interpersonal ties with as a friend and a person treat you as a best friend. You must remember that you must have love oneanother as like a brother and sister and you must have trust to each other to make a relationship get forever and makes both of you as "Best Friends Forever".

The Fox and the Grapes

One hot summer's day a Fox was strolling through an orchard
till he came to a bunch of Grapes just ripening on a vine which had been trained over a lofty branch. "Just the thing to quench my thirst," quoth he. Drawing back a few paces, he took a run and One, Two, Three, he jumped up, but with no greater success. Again and again he tried after the
tempting morsel but at last had to give it up, and walked away with his nose in the air, saying:
"I am sure they are sour."
Moral Lesson :
  • A person with weak determination seldom succeeds.
  • Be creative. There are many ways to solve a problem.
  • Sometimes a man pretends to despise what he cannot have .
Reflection:
We must remember that It is easy to despise what you cannot get. We must fight and have courage and faith to get those this.  Do not pretend that you are down and don't say that you cannot do this . You must have a positive thinking and good goal . Also, people encounter problems , problem that make us realized and don't gave up. We must remember that all problems can be solve.

A Lion in love

A lion demanded the daughter of a woodcutter in marriage. The Father, unwilling to grant, and yet afraid to refuse his request, hit upon this expedient to rid himself of his import unities. He expressed his willingness to accept the Lion as the suitor of his daughter on one condition: that he should allow him to extract his teeth, and cut off his claws, as his daughter was fearfully afraid of both. The Lion cheerfully assented to the proposal. But when the toothless, clawless Lion returned to repeat his request, the Woodman, no longer afraid, set upon him with his club, and drove him away into the forest.

Moral lesson :
In this story , the moral lesson that can you get from this is listen to your parents but a right way . As a son or daughter you must  take your care in your parents to guide you and help you in your life . To expressed your feelings to your special someone you must give more to him/her.  In this story also has a content that even the wildest can be tamed by love
Reflection:
I can say that I instruct in this story because as one of those children who is hard-headed in our parents. You can realized that what is the effect of this.  You can see the effect of being a hard- headed and not disobeying to our parents. Meanwhile, this is one of the ten commandments of God that we should obey our parent and honor them .

The Fox and the Stork

One day, a fox invited a stork to hid house for dinner. The fox, who enjoyed practical jokes, put the dinner on two flat plates. The stork could not eat because of its long beak.
The fox realized that he could not blame the stork who had only paid him back what he deserved .
Moral Lesson :
" Treated others as you would have them treat you"
Reflection:
There is a golden rule " Do not do other what you do not like other to do to you" . Through this, it shows that we must treat other people good and kind. We must learn to treat them as a children of God and as a brothers and sisters . By loving one another and being oneness.

The Fox and the Cat

A fox once boasted to a cat about how clever he was. He said he had a hundred ways of escaping from his enemies, the dogs. The cat replied that she only one trick . Just then they heard the yelping of dogs. The  cat used her only means of escape and immediately climbed up the tree. She called down to the fox that this was trick she had told about. She asked him which of his tricks he would use.

Before the confused fox could decide, the dogs were upon him, and that was the end of the fox.

 Moral Lesson:

  •  One effective method is better than hundred untried ones.
  •   Simple and workable approach is preferred than a complicated one .
  •   Better to have one plan that works than a hundred that fail.
  Reflection:
We must have a pal to do work successful . Make sure that it is effective and not to fail. Plan a tricks/ method to do your work more better. It is also better that we encounter problems because of this it can make us to have courage and faith to do our work. Also, we must not to escape from our enemy.

The Elves and the shoemaker

A shoemaker and his wife lived in a faraway village. They were both hardworking and kind. Because he was already getting old, the shoemaker could no longer made a shoes as he used to . He and his wife were always in need of money because there were less and less shoes to sell.

One morning, the couple were surprised to find several new pairs of shoes at the shop. They wondered who made the shoes.
The old shoemaker brought the shoes to town and quickly sold them. He came home with a lot of money.
The next morning , the couple were once again surprised to find several pairs of newly sewn shoes at the shop. Again, the shoe maker sold the shoes in town and came home with more money. The couple decided to keep watch at the shop that night. At night, several elves appeared from nowhere and started sewing shoes.
The elves left before day break, leaving behind several pairs of beautifully made shoes.  The couple decided to repay the elves for their kindness. All day , they did nothing but sew new clothes and shoes for the elves. They left the clothes and shoes at the shop .
T hat night, the elves saw the clothes and shoes. They put them on before they sewed some more shoes.

Moral lesson :
" Be like the elves in this story and help elderly not only in their hours of needs but at all times."

Reflection:
We must help other people especially to the needy and elderly people . Helping them by giving their needs and care. We must do our responsibility to them.

The two mules

Two mules were on the same path. The first who worked for miller, was loaded with oats .
The other was owned by  banker and was carrying a chest full of gold coins. Because of this it trotted along very proudly. Some robbers, on hearing the clinking, realized that the mule was carrying a treasure.

As they stole it, they beat the mule with sticks.
" You see", explained the first mule, being rich and important has its drawbacks."

Moral Lesson:
" Riches should not be displayed arrogantly for it can invite misery."

Reflection:
Other people now are getting richer and most of them they displayed the riches . Even though they are getting so grieve and being so proudly .  People getting richer because of their hardship that they maintain . Their are saying now "  lumingon ka sa pinanggalingan " for me we must agree in this saying that we must not forget to go back we lived for and remember that what  is you before must same as you now.

The Cows and the Leopard

One day a leopard came nearby. He saw the  three cows. He began to watch them . He was hungry but he could not come near. The three cows were strong.

Three cows were on a grassy field. They were brothers. They were always together.
" If they are not together, I shall be able to kill them one by one, " the leopard thought. " what shall I do? Ah, I shall make quarrel."
The sly leopard talked to the other animals. He told bad stories about each cow. The other animals began to spread the stories around. The stories were heard by the brothers.
" Why did you say I am a thief? " asked one cow to the second cow.
" Why did you say I am lazy?" asked the second cow to the third cow.
" Why did you say I always eat all the grass here?' asked the third cow to the first cow.
the quarrel grew. Soon the three cows did talk to each other anymore. Each started to go his own way. The leopard followed.
very soon the bad leopard ate the first cow. Then the second cow. Then the third cow.

Moral lesson :
The moral lesson is when  there a unity there is a strength . Do not believe easily when people tell stories. Such maybe a trap .

Reflection:
It takes that we must not believe easily to the people who makes stories . You make sure and confirm about the story you make and believe . You must  know first what is the effect of making a story to other people because maybe your hurt somebody else and might you step other people deeds. To have success, we must have a unity and maybe there is a strength in you. In strength , You have a courage to succeed and fight to get your goal in your life .

The dog and the rabbit

Once there were a hunt dog and a rabbit. the hunting dog chased the rabbit around a mountain for several hours until both of them became so exhausted that they fell flay to the ground and expired
 Moral lesson :
Know your limitation . Over exhaustion can kill  .
Reflection:
First, we must know our limitation in our life not being irresponsible . We must follow the right path like God. meanwhile , we must think critically and  do what is good for you.

The crow and the pitcher

He dropped more pebbles until the water rose within reach . The crow drank it and saved his life. A crow dying of thirst saw a pitcher with water left. HE put his brake into it but could not reach down to drink. The crow got idea an idea. He took a pebble and dropped it. As he did, the water into pitcher rose higher.

   Moral lesson :
If there is people have a strong determination , it is one could you succeed.

Reflection:
Other's say that if you have a strong determination , you can succeed. For me, this saying is true because if you really want to get a thing that you really want to have , you can get it by having a strong faith and determination. Like in this story , the crow and the pitcher  he didn't gave up to get.
